Application Testing with the XpressLab Sandbox

The XpressLab Sandbox is an automated API request validation and response generation system that provides immediate feedback to software companies during their integration process and for future use for regression testing.

This is a hosted environment that simulates transaction services with static and dynamic behavior allowing accurate, isolated testing of software by third party users giving them an opportunity to experiment with application and service behavior in a self-paced manner.  In addition, the sandbox keeps detailed records that are maintained for use in the certification of payment-enabled applications providing real time results for both development efforts as well as certification.

Technical and Functional Application Certification

After your payment-enabled application is fully tested, it must be certified by XpressLab. Certification ensures that applications comply with Chase Paymentech specifications and other service-specific standards, and are ready to properly transact.

The XpressLab certification process is a two-step process that includes a technical certification and a functional certification. During the technical certification, you will be required to demonstrate that you can create all transactions with the necessary data to pass certification for your appropriate industry types. The functional certification is based upon requirements set forth for compliance, and best practice requirements that XpressLab deems necessary for an application to perform properly including: application security requirements, data element storage, and proper application flow.

XpressLab provides test scripts as part of the certification process. These scripts help developers send appropriate sets of transaction messages to the Chase Paymentech platform. Once all of these items have been met successfully, XpressLab deems your solution to be certified to process in a production environment.
